Step back in time when you visit the historic Minor-Porter Log House.  

Visitors of all ages are welcome to arrive any time during the open house hours.  You'll get a feel for pioneer life as you tour the log home, smoke house, dugout and homestead grounds.  Read more about the Minor-Porter Log House. 

No registration is required, free with $5/vehicle LLELA entry.  Park at the Cottonwood/Cicada Pavilion parking area, follow the Cottonwood trail and if you keep right at the fork, you will discover that after a quick 0.4 mile walk, you will arrive at the homestead.
