Austin Kent Ellis Park, located at 810 S. Old Orchard and Fox Avenue is a 4.6 acre park positioned between Iris Lane Park and the Sylvan Creek Greenbelt. As part of the Texas Recreation and Parks Society (TRAPS) Statewide Healthy Play & Recreation Initiative, Austin Kent Ellis Park underwent a playground replacement. The new playground focuses on promoting adult and youth physical activity, by including high-activity elements in the playground, inclusive swing bays, and (4) upper and lower body fitness stations.

Park amenities include:

• pavilion/covered picnic table area (reservations accepted)
• playground
• public restrooms
• and parking lot.
