To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone at Lake Park, the City will be strictly enforcing the following ordinances: 10-71 (No alcohol in parks), 10-72 (No glass containers in parks), and 9-5 (No loud or excessive noise). During busy times, staff will conduct cooler checks before entry to the park. If found, visitors will have an opportunity to discard any alcohol/glass products, or not enter the park. Violators within the park will be immediately removed without a refund.

Lake Park, located at 600 Sandy Beach Road, is over 662 acres. The Park located along Lake Lewisville shoreline just east of Mill Street; approximately three-quarters of a mile east of I-35.

Lake Park is operated by the City on property leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is divided into four major areas including the golf course, the athletic facilities, day use areas, and a marina. The lake related uses include campgrounds, beaches, docks, boat ramps & picnic facilities, and attract many people from all over the region. The Lewisville Parks & Recreation Department is in the process of creating a master plan for Lake Park.

Annual passes will be available for sale online via PlayLewisville.com, or call the PARD Admin Office at 972.219.3550. Visitors will still be able to purchase a day use pass by using the kiosk.

Boat ramps, courtesy docks, picnic areas, picnic pavilion rentals or group picnic areas, and day use swimming areas are all available in the lake use areas.  Entrance fees are required to access this portion of Lake Park.  The park is open year-round for your enjoyment.  For additional information on Lake Park or to report an issue with the park, please call 972.219.3550.

7 a.m. - 7 days/ week

Closing times vary by season:

March 1 - Oct. 31: closes at 9 p.m.

Nov. 1 - Feb. 28: closes at 5 p.m.
